She partners with others to bring the best self-care education opportunities to those who visit the site. Co-birthing the Hygeia Center with other collaborators has been Cynthia’s dream for 20 years. She believes self care skill building opportunities (such as those available through the Hygeia Center for Wellbeing) are a necessary evolution in healthcare. Cynthia’s vision includes having high quality experiential education be widely available to people who want to maximize their health and wellbeing.

“My training in nutrition has been a wonderful framework for assisting others in rebuilding health.                                                     I enjoy assiting others in healing from the inside out."

I believe we can trust our bodies and minds to heal and restore given the right conditions of sleep-rest-healthful foods-regular exercise and stimulating life purpose. As a RDN/Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and CDE/Certified Diabetes Educator I’ve seen what small course corrections in lifestyle can do to animate health, minimize reliance on medications and promote greater confidence in my clients. I seen that most sustainable change starts on the inside!”

The Hygeia Center for Wellbeing is an on-line center offering education in self-care skills that maximize vitality and health.

Hygeia is the goddess of mental & physical health.  In Greek lore she was the daughter of Asclepius, the father of Western medicine.  In Ancient healing temples, the Hygeia influence rekindled health through healthful sleep, food, and water, regular exercise, and the prevention practices that today we’d call healthy self-care.
